Upon startup of Windows Me I get the following error
message: "Cannot import C:/Windows/sys.reg: Error opening
the file. There may be a disk or file system error." Can
anyone please suggest a possible solution ?

Thanks, Rick

Sys.reg is a file you don't want back.
Read the information on your AV site for the virus (assuming your AV
removed it)

You may be able to remove the startup entry.
Start-Run-Regedit
Navigate down to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Remove the entry.
