First check that this cannot be uninstalled using Add/Remove Programs. If not
use MSConfig, (Start, Run, enter MSConfig in the box and click OK), open the
Startup tab and look for an uncheck any entry referring to wtoosa.exe. Apply,
OK and reboot. This should hopefully stop this toolbar from being launched
after which you need to check your system with not only your preferred
antivirus application equipped with an updated current set of reference viral
signatures.
You should then check your system for unwanted commercial malware, parasites
and the like using the free AdAware
(
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and SpyBot Search & Destroy
(
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/). Other useful tools include
BHOCaptor (
http://www.xcaptor.org) that checks for unwanted Browser Help
Objects and SpywareBlaster
(
http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html) which can help prevent
some parasites getting a grip on your PC.
