You are not irritating me at all. Even my wife can't do that. I am just
running out of ideas here. I have no problem with it at all and I can't see
where you would. The only other trick that I have seen work with this type of
thing is to delete the association entirely and then use R-click>Open With on
the clp file itself.

| Sorry to bother you.
| I tried that way still no luck.
| I tested the association(clp) with Notepad, it works ok but not with
| Clipbrd.exe.
| Tried also by uninstall/reinstall of clipboard viewer, still the same.
| Also I tried to add a right click menu in the registry key
| HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Open8\Command\default
| C:\WINDOWS\CLIPBRD.EXE %1
| All other commands are working fine but
| Clipbrd.exe opens a "blank" window.
| Any other idea?
| I appologize for any irritation caused by this. Thanks.

| That configuration is working just fine for me ( had to change the
| association
| to test it because clp is also a format that was associated with Iview. I
| would
| try removing the entry completely from the "Application to use" box and then
| "Browse' to C:\WINDOWS\CLIPBRD.EXE and see if that corrects it. You may
| have to
| go back in and place the cursor after .exe and then add the <space>"%1".

| | File Type highlight
| | CLP CLP File
| | then Advanced button
| | > Edit
| | Action Open
| | Application to use Box
| | C:\WINDOWS\CLIPBRD.EXE "%1"
| | tick confirm open after download
| | blank always show extension
| |
| | Registry entry for .clp
| | Default "clp_auto_file"
| |
| | It still opens a "blank" window
| | Any change needed in the Registry?
| | Very many thanks for your attention.

| | Go to Folder Options>File Types. Select the file type and then "Edit",
| | select
| | "Open" and then click "Edit" and in the application to use box, place your
| | cursor at the end of the string, insert a space then "%1" including the
| | quotation marks.

| | | The .clp files are associated with Clipbrd.exe, when double clicked the
| | .clp
| | | file, it opens the Clipboard Viewer but does not list the contents of
| the
| | | .clp file. The Clipboard Viewer window opens blank. The saved .clp files
| | are
| | | of URL addresses. By using the command File > Open, it lists the
| contents
| | | ok.
| | | Could these files be opened automatically by double clicking the .clp
| | file,
| | | in clipboard viewer window.
| | | Thanks for any advice.
