Could someone please tell me which files are safe to
delete to free up disk space. What are BAK, BKF, MIL, BIN
files? Are they safe to delete. I need help please!!

Delete all temporary internet files. Copy your data to CDs.

Get a new hard disk. Hard disk are not expensive.

Delete files from the TEMP folder only immediately following a reboot, to
ensure none are still required.

Elsewhere *.bak *.old and *.tmp files are generally safe to delete (though
the first two may be useful as backups of previous files and usually are not
large enough to consititute a waste of hd space). *.mil and *.bin are likely
to be required and should not be deleted unless in the TEMP folder as above.

A Rolls Royce is not expensive if you're wealthy enough. To many a new hd is
too expensive to justify (kids need feeding and clothing first etc).
