WDIZ0TE7 is the name of a file that says it is an IE file
that I can't seem to delete. It is always in my temporary
file when I clean up the disc. I send it to the recycle
bin, but it keeps coming back. Is this a trojan or virus
or what. How do I delete this file? I'm not very computer
inteligent, so please tell me in simple terms what to do.
Thank you, Sher

Are you sure it's a file and not a folder? There is a *Temporary Internet
Files* folder and a *TEMP* folder. *TEMP* is the default location for
temporary files, but *Temporary Internet Files* is the default location
for - you guessed it! - temporary internet files (which a temporary file
associated with Internet Explorer might - though not necessarily - be
expected to be in).

The Temporary Internet Files folder contains a sub-folder called Content.IE5
and within that more sub-folders with 8 character alpha-numeric names very
much like WDIZ0TE7. What does it say if you r-click it and select
Properties? Is it called a File Folder? What size is it? What size is it
after you've opened Control Panel | Internet Options then clicked *Delete
Files* and put a check in *Delete All Offline Content* then clicked OK?

Viruses picked up from rogue websites very often remain in Temporary
Internet Files, though usually deleting the files as above deletes them too.

btw you should only delete the contents of TEMP immediately following a
reboot.

This file, plus three other files are listed in the
Temporary Internet Files as folders. When you view the
Temp file under ContentIE5 they are listed there.
4ZCZKJED (3.68mb), 6P2LYNIL (4.75mb), and OZEP2FSZ (3.56
mb),plus WDIZOTE7 (5.12mb). They range in sizes, as listed
above and have anywhere from 111 - 158 files inside, when
you click on the properties of each. It shows all 4
folders location as:C:/Windows/Temporary Internet
Files/Content IE. I can delete and send them to the
recycle bin, they stay there and also stay in the Temporary
Internet File under my Disc Cleanup. I have gone to
Internet Options, many time, and deleted but to no avail.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for
answering me earlier. Sher

OK, Sher,

They're supposed to be there and are not a problem. There's no reason to
delete them, so you should just leave them be.
