I've had ZoneAlarm block WCB2Cx.exe from making an outgoing connection. The
file has mysteriously appeared in my Windows/Temp folder. Ad-Aware and
SpyBot find nothing unusual and no hits on Google either.

Can anybody throw any light on it?

Like you say, Google etc., produces no hits, therefore as you've actually
found a copy of WCB2Cx.exe on your machine, use the 'Properties' version tab
to try to identify the Company and Description of the file. That might help
you determine its source or more importantly - its purpose <g>

There's no information whatsoever on the 'Properties' version tab. All
fields are blank. Definitely highly suspect!

That's a fair conclusion <g> and as it's in your Windows\Temp folder, a
reboot followed by a deletion session sounds like your next course of
action.

Good luck
