What are you trying to "fix"? There are two vxdmon files in the _RESTORE
folder, vxdmon.dat and vxdmon.cfg. By default neither file type has an
associated application to open them but if you have done so it will cause no
harm.
If you wish to remove any association from files with either or both dat and
cfg extensions you can do so using Control Panel | Folder Options | File
Types, select either DAT or CFG and click Delete.
