When I start up my computer, and the desktop appears, the
SYSTEM folder will pop up. I have no idea why this is
happening. Also, it happened once just randomly, not at
start up. What's going on?

Katy,

Have you just installed a Symantec ( Norton ) product or do you have
Norton Personal firewall installed ? :

I have norton anti-virus, but it's been on my computer for
a long time.

I'm also getting an error message that says "ahqtb has
caused an error in devcon32.dll"

Is it possible these are connected? Because the
devcon32.dll file is in that system folder...
