Wait a minute! How is that even possible? I've worked in Manufacturing many
years to know how difficult it is to track serial numbers of different
components together much less than having a motherboard ID burned into a CD
recovery program. They burn these things out in batches, so how could they
match a single CD to a motherboard. That would be far too costly. I do know
that these will only work with HP Pavillion PCs, according to the
documentation I just read.
So, I don't know how to resolve this one. The discs come with lots of
additional software for photos and games. I don't remember the list, but
there's a lot.
