VMPOLL is a vxd driver loaded as part of VMM32.VXD
it's possible that your system has somehow got hold of an incorrect
version....
Look in the folder C:\Windows\System32\VMM32
is there a copy of VMPOLL there (there shouldn't be, AFAIK)? - what's the
version number?
If there's a copy of VMPOLL in the VMM32 folder it would indicate that there
is a different version in VMM32.vxd - and we'll have to find a way to
restore the original.
Do a search on your PC for files named VMPOLL - see what it reports.
It's worth checking also for viruses - update your virus scanner and run a
full scan of all files.
