I cannot use the shift key to make a capital letter. I can
use "caps lock" to make a capital; however I cannot get
such characters as "@". (I'm typing this on my laptop. Its
my desktop that has the trouble.) For exampale, If I
type "shift+B" I get "bold." If I type shift+I, I get
italics. How did I get into this mess, and how do I get
out? HELP, PLEASE. Bob Valpey
