Hi, Is there any way to download all service packs and
updates for MS Windows ME, and save to a folder for
future use?

I have a computer that has MS Windows ME on it that is in
much need of the service packs (it keeps freezing up),
but, it is not connected to the internet and do not
intend to connect it. How can I load all the needed
updates on this computer???

Thanks.

But there is a whole passel of updates. I don't know how
you go about determining which updates apply to you, but
having done so you can use a link at the windows update
site (you may have to turn on that link) to take you to a
library from which you can download the updates. Then you
write them to a CD and copy them to the subject computer.
Mike knows the details.

For updates, go to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
However, the freezing may be a hardware problem or a problem with the graphics
card.
Make sure that the graphics card is properly seated by removing and
re-inserting it if necessary, also get the latest drivers installed.
Mike.
