When my screen saver comes on it gives an error
SCREENSAVER HALTED - SCRIPT ERROR. Does anyone have
information that would help me with this problem? Thanks

Use a different screen saver, would be the simplest thing. If that works,
the one you have is probably corrupt. Screensavers, on modern monitors, are
not much more than eye candy. The blank screen setting works well on my
machine, not pretty, but, functional.

The best screensaver is Windex and a soft cloth. By and large, screensavers
at large are poorly written, most prevent a drive to enter standby (3D
screensavers using virtual memory). Best procedure is to rely on the
standard login scr for security and shutdown the monitor in power
management.

I don't bother with screensavers. Instead I switch off the monitor when I'm
not at the computer.
