use control+alt+F8 all at once

A:C: Type the C: hit enter
C:scandisk Hit enter
uncheck automatic fix You want to see what is wrong
then fix it!
advance: use always
pick what you wan for the log file
delete crossed links
free lost files
put a check in everything else
run and fix everything.
C:scanreg hit enter
fix everything then back it up hit enter
C: eject floppy
control+ alt+ delete all at once, it will restart
you might have to run scandisk in safe mode / and or go
ahead
do it in windows also just by clicking on things with your
mouse.
You can do it also in windows by going to
Start,Run type in scandisk
