Only ScanDefrag 4.1 seems to be available at your website.

George (Bindar Dundat) recommended a possible solution re Defrag problems
yesterday that involved downloading GEODISK, which appears to be a program
used to manage your Defrag program.
I downloaded it and must advise it is a real gem....the SCANDISK and DEFRAG
operation took no more than 15 minutes all told to complete both processes.
Is there any reason that the DEGRAG TEAM is not front and center on this one
???

In the first place, we did not create ScanDefrag to be in competition =
with anybody. What other programs do is their own busy. We (Bill =
Blanton, Ken Routhier (aka Grazzer), Jon Scott, and I) created the =
ScanDefrag program out of the growing need in the 98/Me newsgroups for a =
program that would allow Scandisk and Defrag to run without the constant =
errors and restarts. And it's free.
Secondly, how long it takes to scan or defrag a drive(s) really depends =
on how large the drive is and how long it has been since the last time =
these utilities were run.

Hope that answered your question.

I detected a bit of anger and/or frustration in your response. Without
looking, I made the assumption that the DEFRAG TEAM was part and parcel of
the MVP program, and I was simply questioning where you stood on this new
"offering". Not knowing exactly what it is, I assume it is an add-on to a
Defrag program that manages the shutdown of open programs so that the
Scan/Defrag program works more efficiently. I most certainly wasn't
suggesting that your Defrag program wasn't any good. As a matter of fact I
have it and have been using it and I indeed thank you for creating it and
offering to the general public free of charge.
I apologize if my question implied anything else.

The ScanDefrag Team is not a part of the MVP program. And no, there was =
no anger (on my part)intended. I simply assume you were a poster with a =
question which I tried to answer.
