Hi all, Just a small thank you to those who wrote this
program. Koldbear, Ken Routhier, Bill Blanton, Jon Scott
and Blueorb Software.
After getting the backdoor.hogle trojan and removing it,
scandisk refused to run. I tried all of the solutions that
I know, nothing I did worked!
These included:
Uncheck all running programs in msconfig.
Scandisk in normal mode.
Scandisk in safe mode.
Endtask on all running programs.
Uninstall some suspicious programs.
I have been running scandisk from dos for about two weeks
because of this issue.
Early this morning I came across this small utility on
another tech forum and gave it a try, it worked.
Thank you, I can now run scandisk easily.
