When starting my computer, (Windows ME), I get error
messages:

1st message: Rundll32 has caused an error in (unknown).
Rundll32 will now close. If you continue to experience
problems, try restarting your computer. (Close)
2nd message: Rundll 32 has caused an error in 2NDSRCH.DLL,
(then same as above) (Close)
3rd message: (X) Error loading 2NDSRCH.DLL. A dynamic link
library (DLL) initialization failed. (I then press OK & it
all goes away & my computer works anyway).

I think the problem started when my daughter downloaded
something from somewhere, (I've fixed that problem).

Can anyone tell me how to fix? Thanks.

Your primary problem seems to be the 2ndSearch program. It is advertised as
being a search toolbar you can use to help enhance Internet searching. In
reality it can cause instability on some systems and is suspected of passing
back information about what types of searches you carry out.

Try using AdAware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ to clean it up, along
with any other unwanted guests that might be inhabiting your system.
