Arul,
It appears that installing ACDSee has damaged some of the necessary
registry entries used to produce thumbnails.
To fix the thumbnail problem, enter the following from a command prompt such
as Start | Run:
REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL
and press enter. This should re-register thumbvw.dll and hopefully add back
the necessary missing registry entries. If not post back as there are other
fixes available but this one seems to fix the problem for most users.
