[WinMe PC with all updates]
After updating Windows Media Player 9 (when Windows Media Player notifies me
updates are available) I install the update without a problem, reboot,
launch media player and have it check for updates again and it shows updates
are available again. It appears it wants to download the same update (by the
size of the update--1M) again. I've installed this update 3 or four times
with the same results.
What's going on?
BTW:This doesn't happen on our WinXP Home PC, only on our WinMe PC. *But* at
dslreports.com in the MS Help forum another person with XP is having the
exact same problem (link below).
