Which just leaves you to sort out some networking and then save some money
by getting rid of one of your phone lines. :-)

Glad to read that that little part of Wales that is forever England has
now started to catch up with the rest of the world.

Cheers,

DON'T let him do it!!!!
Seriously - they are a real PITA to configure, and will reconfigure
themselves at the drop of a hat!

by all means, get a scanner/printer (I have a HP 1350) - and use Windows to
do your faxing via a modem.
(or get clients who use email, and email the texts!)

Ohh phooh!!! Feardy cat! ;o)) I have an HP G55 all in one, except for
fax, and my color printer, color copier and color scanner all in one works
wonderfully, and I've never had the problem of it changing itself. I know
it is a bit old, I've had it since January 2000, but, it works with ME and
now with W2K with no problems whatsoever. It depends on what you get. Some
I have heard don't work well, but, I've never had any problems wih mine, and
my ex-boss has an HP T45 that with a fax that works just as well.

Sounds like a line from MTA.
"Well did she ever return, no she never returned and her fate is still
unlearned"
(with apologies to the Kingston Trio, Bess Hawes and Jacqueline
Steiner))

I was going to suggest to Jack that if he can't make it, just send his
wife, but thought that may be a bit off.

Snow??? In December? <g>
It is warm here, 26C at 17:10.
Just came back from civilization and ready for a swim before dinner to
cool off, though the tide is out and I will have to walk 150 yards
from my front door. I may just go down a pick a few abalone instead.
