I saw my virus checker, Avast!, check out the c:\_RESTORE folder but I
cannot see that folder in Windows Explorer. How can I see that folder so I
can determine how much is in it? I have it programmed to accept 6,800 MB
for restore, but I would like to know how much is really there. I am also
curious as to how much each restore point takes up. Thanks...

Harvey
You can see the _Restore folder if you change the settings in Tools|Folder
Options in Windows Explorer - set it to Show Hidden files, AND Uncheck the
option to hide System Files/folders.

Thanks much. It worked. I have 689 Mb in there out of 6,800 allocated so
I can contain a lot more restore points if needed.

I wouldn't recommend keeping any more than 2 weeks' worth of restore point
for ANY reason! - for this, I would suggest reducing the available space to
less than 1GB - around one notch above the minimum is my usual target.
