One suggestion I read on speeding up Win ME is to Purge Temp Files. It says
to locate it by clicking on My Computer and then Pressing Ctrl + A to clear
everything then press Delete. Then answer Yes to all Yes/No questions.

What I am not to clear on is how to find the Temp File.
I tried searching for c:\Windows\Temp and I get a list of files in Windows
Temp. Is this the right one?

Any help would be appreciated.

Temp files are located at C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

The proper way to clean out the Temp files is reboot and then;
Start/Run type in "%temp%" without quotes. Then depress Ctrl + A
and Delete.

I think you also want to clear the TIF files (Temporary Internet
Files). Double click MY COMPUTER/CONTROL PANEL/INTERNET OPTIONS and
then click on DELETE Files. Place a checkmark in " Delete all offline
content".

Hope this helps

Thanks for everyones suggestions. It was the Windows Temp File I was asking
about. I should have made that clearer.
