Problems with ME

Hello. I have recently reinstalled my HP OS using the
Recovery CD's and when I restart it says there is an
error and shuts off. I cannot read it fast enough to tell
what the error is, but I think it is gdi32.dll. Any
suggestions on how to fix this so windows will load?

thanks. i tried that but it didn't do any good. still
won't boot. any other ideas? i saw that it was looking
for something.exe not .dll. help!
