Printer (Lexmark X73) and ISDN modem (Acer ISDN 128 Surf Mini USB) do work
only if connected directly to the notebook (ThinkPad R50e, Windows XP).

Both devices do not work via the USB-Hub (Targus Model PA050), the internet
connection can be set up properly but no internet pages can be displayed.

Other devices such as mouse or external memory are working fine via the hub.

BIOS was updated without resolving this problem.

Does anybody have an idea how to overcome this problem?

Is the usb hub a powered hub? If not the problem could be due to lack of
adequate power for the devices you are using.
