Problem with Windows Update

Updated windows media player with a Critical Patch
(KB828026), installed OK but when I go back into Windows
Update the Patch still appears in the Critical Updates
section and is selected for download and installation.

Has anybody had this problem and knows how to get the
Windows update to clear this option.

Have a look here for help with KB828026 :

" I have already installed 828026 and now Windows Update says it is
still needed. I have installed this update several times. "
