FYI! No HP Printer Drivers for 95, 98SE, Me at HP Site

I was having problems reinstalling my HP PSC 1410v on my GW with Me using
thhe HP disk. Went to HP site to download from there. When asked to select OS
from list, got message HP no longer carries printer downloads/disks for 95,
98SE, or Me. You have to use your original installation disks.

There are other places to dl'd the drivers, besides the HP site. Do a
search. What seems to be the problem with your original install disc??
What error messages???....indications??..........we need info, detailed
info.

Thanks for the "heads up".
Recently I switched to a Brother MFC Printer and there are no problems with
that.
H has the right idea to "google" for any needed drivers, if none available.

Joan, Heirloom, Webster72n,
Thanks for comeback. Sorry I didn't make it clear, but I finally got the
install from disc to work. Took about 8 tries, unistall, remove hp files,
reinstall. Message was simply the installation failed and an automessage was
sent to Hp with details and there was no solution. Uninstall and try install
again.
