I've just added a DVD player to a rebuilt Windows ME machine.

The drivers came with the drive unit, so I'm assuming it is setup OK...

I can use the drive as a CD without any problems, but I'm cant seem to get
DVDs going. On my XP Pro machine, I can view DVDs in windows media player,
but not on the ME machine. Buried in the options are file associations; my
XP machine has an option for DVDs, but the ME machine doesnt...

What do I need to do to play DVDs on this unit?

Thanks

CJM

You must have WMP9 and download and install a decoder (usually paid).

You need to install DVD software such as PowerDVD or WinDVD.
