How do you delete a file so that it can't be recovered,
even with unerase/recovery software.

TIA

Karl,
You just about can't... If somebody wanted to spend the time
and money, they can recover about anything on your hard drive.
The only SURE cure is to burn the hard drive in a real HOT
fire... There are some programs out there that will SHRED
your deleted files, but I have heard that it is not foolproof..
I will paste one URL in here for you to have a look at..
http://simplythebest.net/shareware/utilities/security/file_shredders.html
I hope this helps..
