A friend of mine is running Windows ME and all of a sudden for some unknown
reason whenever he starts his computer a box pops on the screen asking for
his password. He has this computer for about 2 years and it just started
doing this several weeks ago. You don't have to put a password in you can
just click on cancel and windows will load.
What can he do to stop this box from asking for his password?
Thanks,
Gordon

Hi,
Entering a name but no password and hitting Enter (not Cancel) should stop
this.

Hi Don,
Entering a name but no password did not work, but I followed the
instructions on the support site that you provided and that solved the
problem.
Thanks for your help,
Gordon
