I am using Outlook Express 6 (Windows ME)and suddenly am
having problems sending attachments in my emails or even
forwarding on those I receive. If my contacts receive
them, they will get them in multiple copies and/or they
can't be opened and/or they just come with computer text.
I seem to be able to send these attachments as a file to
MSN Messenger no problem. I have checked all my settings
and they seem to be set right. I am having no problems
with receiving attachments. Something must have changed
but am not sure what.... Would appreciate any input you
might have but please keep it to language I can understand
since I am a novice at all this.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like your outbox folder is corrupt.
Tools/options/maintenance/store folder and note the location.
Close OE.
In Windows Explorer navigate to the place you noted.
Find and delete "outbox.dbx".
A new, empty folder will be created when you next open OE.
(Note that you may have to enable "show hidden files and folders" via
control panel/folder options/view before you can locate and delete the
file in Windows Explorer.)
Use this link for explanations as to how this may have happened and for
maintenance of OE.
