    - boot problem I am running Windows ME and sometimes when I fire up the computer I get a message that the drive can't be found, but if I retry it a couple of times it starts up fine. The other problem I get is a stop screen that shows things like the processor and amount of ram etc, and says press F1 to resume (as if there was was an error, but it is not showing an error). Could all of this be a CMOS battery issue? Also, if I change the CMOS battery, will I have to do any other configuring or can I just fire it up and go? Please help... Tag: Outlook Express Tag: 212653

    - Still have problem!!!! My cousin's computer starts up, shows the desktop, and then gives this blue screen: "An error has occured. To continue press ENTER to return to Windows, or press ctrl+alt+del to restart your pc. File name: VMM(12)+00004C3C Error: OE: 0028:C0283C3C If i press enter it freezes or pops up the same screen. (accessed via http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp ). The list isn't exactly informative! He's pretty sure he's had automatic updates from time to time, and the Windows Update check from the Start Menu says he's OK.
