How to I hide the contents of a distribution list. That
is, I do not want each individual to know the others on
the list. Just want a list name, or private or something
like that. Please help

In the message composition window, click View and make sure All Headers is
checked. Now, just put the addresses of the individual people into the Bcc
field. I've done it before a couple of times when sending out a "private
group email", and it worked perfectly.

You're absolutely right, I forgot that one. I do that myself when I have to
send a group email.
