My Windows ME came loaded with MS Works Suite 2001. I want
to install MS Office 2000 Premium SR-1. Is there any
compatiblity problems?

Thanks for your time.

Nope - should be OK, although you may hit a problem on the install, .....
look here
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=210437
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=259136
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=257522
(and a few more!<g>) - search the KB articles for 'works suite office' and
see what you get

I'm still not clear on when they stopped including Word in Works Suite. If
it's in 2001 I'd recommend uninstalling it and re-installing from the Office
CD, just to avoid having to insert 2 CD's for running Office updates.

AFAIK Word is still part of the Suite - but not part of Works (without the
Suite).
