I followed your recipe, but still no luck.
From the Install New Modem screen: "Windows will now try to detect your
modem"
Then- "Windows did not find any new modems attached to your computer"
"To select your modem from a list, click Next"
I selected, in turn, each of the listed 56K modems from the list, but none
would install
...Suggestions ?
