Ok, I know that ME is very weak.....to put i simply. I've
been having problems with ME on my HP. When we bought our
computer it came with ME preinstalled. Since then, we
have had nothing but problems with it....our computer is
very unstable. Right now, it seems stable, but at
anytime, for any given reason, it could freeze on us..a
green bar displays at the top of the screen.....sometimes
ctrl+alt+delete will work, other times it won't. I
uninstalled all software that I added since we reinstalled
ME...thinking it was a software conflict. Unfortunately,
it still locks up on us and sometimes will just simply
reboot itself out of nowhere. Can anyone tell me what can
be done, outside of upgrading to XP to fix this problem.
I would like to upgrade, but my fear is that the computer
will not remain stable long enough to complete it. Anyone
have similar problems with ME?

There is nothing wrong with WinMe as an os.
It is lot better than previous ones and more
stable than earlier ones.
Please make yourself more familiar how to use it. Do not let creep "it is
bad bad bad .."
into your mind.Be patient and look into your
problems and you should be able to overcome and solve the errors. Post it
here one by one for the solutions. There are lot of experienced and well
qualified persons on this ng to solve the irritations.
Good luck and best wishes.
