Hello everyone!
I hope you can help me with this simple doubt.
If I´m not mistaken, there is an aplication, created by MS, that allow us to
protect our folders with a password, avoinding others to open it.
Do you know where I can get this application on Microsoft web page? Is it
compatible with Windows ME?

Thanks,

I think you're talking about Private Folders. Microsoft withdrew it
less than a month after it was released, it's no longer available.

Nonetheless, I believe it is still possible to password protect folders.
isn't it? You can certainly encrypt them.

We're talking Win Me here so this can only be done with the aid of third
party products unless you mean creating password protected zip files (Win
Me's compressed folders). The protection here is somewhat rudimentary but
probably adequate.
