I've just recently got a cable modem. I've had a rash of invalid page
faults since. This is out of my fault log:

I've just recently downloaded adaware. It helped with other faults except

WSCRIPT, TAPISRV, NDETECT, and MSNMSGR. They are all at the same place
except the 1st 4 digits vary, i.e. xxxx:67c82790. I would be most
appreciative of any help. Thanks!

Such errors are often caused by spyware - download AdAware from
www.lavasoftusa.com, install, update, and run it to remove spyware, adware,
and other such nasties from your system.

Mmm - sorry , I missed the bottom paragraph of your post!
I assume that you've already checked for viruses and other malware also?
Have you tried a Repair of Internet Explorer, from Add/Remove Programs?

How do you repair a program through add/remove programs?

Amy
The only program that you can do this with is IE.
Go to Add/Remove Programs, and look for the Microsoft Internet Explorer X
and Internet Tools entry
Highlight it and click on Remove.
A pop-up will appear, with three options - select the Repair option, and
click OK
Windows will reboot.

It was a conflict with Norton. I disabled my auto-protect and I haven't got
the error again...

DO NOT DO THAT!!!!!!!
either Uninstall Norton completely, and get a decent AV program that works
with ME, or find a way to get Norton functioning properly!!!

You CANNOT afford to have a PC in the modern environment running without AV
protection - which is what you are doing by disabling Norton Auto-protect.

I use AVG (from www.grisoft.com) - it's free, and has none of the issues
that Norton has with ME (and uses considerably less resources.
