the IPHLPAPI.DLL file will not open, please locate the
file to determine the problem

I get the above message when the machine boots up. The
only reference I can finsd so far is related to this
happening when a program may be running. Is it a case of
shutting down some of the things in start up with
msconfig until I find the errant program.

This first occurred whilst trying a Windows Update. I
Haven`t been able to access the UPdates site since.

Any suggestions. Thanks for listening.

I'm getting a similar message - "Error starting program,
the IPHLPAPI.DLL cannot start. Check the file to determine
the problem" Did anyone find out what this error is? The
last change I made on my computer was to install the new
AOL9 program.

Thanks,
Scarlett
