I just bought my first digital camera & installed the
software that came with it and now almost everything is
opened with "QuickTime", all my pictures & my music files
use the QuickTime player which I don't like as well as the
windows media player. I guess my question is has anyone
else run into this( it seems like QuickTime has taken over
my computer) and if so, can I still run the Fuji finepix
viewer without quicktime. Wanted to ask before I do a
system restore. Thanks, Jimmy

Yes, you can run your Fuji app without the use of Quicktime.
And you don't need to do a Restore........
To make Windows Media Player your default media player, follow these steps:
In Windows Media Player, click Tools, and then click Options.
On the Formats tab, under Available File Formats, click Select All to select
all of the file formats listed (or you can click to select each individual
check box).
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Windows Media Player is now your default media player for those selected
media file formats.
If you have any problems, post back with the details.
