Error Message: Kernel 32.DLL

The error message: "Explorer has caused an error in Kernel
32.DLL Explorer will now close" etc. started today in
Outlook Express while reading mail. This has occurred
before but not with such persistance. It completely
freezes the page and I have to manually shut down the
computer. I'd appreciate your help. Jack
