Driver files

Is there a way to find the file all drivers are stored in
Windows ME so I can extract the file, format my hard drive
and then replace the file when I get the hard drive re-
formatted??

Not without some difficulty. Much easier to download the latest Win Me
compatible drivers from the manufacturer's web site for your hardware that
aren't included as part of Win Me. Save these and install once you have
clean installed Win Me.

get a floppy and save all your Favorites.
use your WinME CD reinstall
yes back it up!
Get new floppy and make a Start Up floppy
all over in 30 minutes, have fun
