I understand that cookies are small text files, but are they only ?read?
when I go to that particular website. If this is true, each time I visit a
site won?t it re-create the cookie? I am using Adware to delete cookies.

I am using Spybot to eliminate spyware, but I would also like to know how
often spyware runs when my computer is turned on. Will I be able to see a
spyware program running when I click on Ctrl|Alt|Delete?

Do you have any suggestions on where I can find a good explanation of
cookies and spyware?

I really would appreciate any help that you can provide.

Thanks,
Al

I don't mean to sound indifferent to your request but the best answers to
your inquiry can be found by using Google and entering something like
'cookies defined' and 'spyware'. There's enough information there to keep
you busy all afternoon -- forever, if you check out all the 4 million
various links.
