Computer hangs on startup

Sometimes when I turn on my computer, it hangs without
opening to my desktop. I'm using ME and when it hangs,
nothing works including ctrl, alt, delete. If anyone has
a solution, please post it or send via email to
cecilbrown@peoplepc.com.
