My Computer

When booting my M.E. on my pc,the 'my computer'page
flashes several times and then stays open until i close it
manually, any suggestions why this happens

this request, it now has started interupting my other
programs by popping up intermitantly and its becoming more
and more irritating.....any more suggestions anybody,
otherwise the drive will have to be formatted......Micky
