Are you saying with Outlook Express disconnected from the net that you
cannot delete this file? If so then it would appear that your outbox
might have become corrupted. Possibly the easiest way to fix the problem
is as follows.
With Outlook Express open, right click on Outbox in the Folders list,
select Properties and note the location of the file outbox.dbx.
Close Outlook Express.
Open Windows Explorer and browse to the folder containing outbox.dbx.
Delete outbox.dbx
Open Outlook Express. A new Outbox (outbox.dbx) will automatically be
created.
You should now be able to send mail and delete items from your Outbox if
and when required.
