While surfing the net, I can no longer save the usernames
and passwords I type to access the restricted sites I
visit.

The "Enter Network Passord" screen pops up and even after
checking the "Save this pasword..." option, the entered
username and pasword are not stored in the system.

Using ME with the latest updates.

Any tip/hint is welcome.

Thanx.

Oscar

Thanks Mike!

You are right! Since I have my own DSL line, I no longer
have my laptop connected to my home network. However, it
is still prompting me to logon onto the Windows Network on
each startup, so I escape it.

I will cancel the logon propmt, as per MS KB 152104.

Thanks again!

Oscar
