A couple of questions about this folder:

1. Is it ok to delete it?
2. Inside the folder there are 2 identical instances of Java Runtime Environment 1.4.1._04. Is that normal?
BTW, it takes a long time (almost 1 min) to load any page with applets...
3. The file "bbsetupad1.exe" is detected every time I scan the system with PestPatrol, but there's no such file in there. How come?

TIA,
LC

Deleting it won't do you any good - Windows will just re-create it when you
download.

Thanks, Jerry.
What about questions 2 and 3?

Lucas,

Why would you delete the contents ? The ActiveX control for Windows
Update is in there ( Update Class ), the AciveX control for your version
of Sun java ( there should be only ONE instance of JRE 1.4.1 . Advise
you to uninstall it from Add\Remove Programs or use the Update feature
found in the Java Plugin in the Control Panel to correct this) is in
there, the Shockwave ActiveX, and other multimedia programs install
ActiveX files there ...
It's true that the controls will be recreated when you visit a site that
requires them so, why delete them ?
Do not know of " bbsetupad1.exe " . The " ad " part would make me
suspicious, though. Maybe you could install AdAware and have it check
this file.

Lucas,

Answered in windowsme.internet. If you're going to cross post, do it in
one post, not individual ones.
