with a 20GB drive, the default size of the C:\_Restore folder is 2.3GB -
this is waaaay too big for most purposes, and should be trimmed to a more
reasonable number, such as 200-400MB (I find that one 'click' above the
minimum is usually the best setting for ME)
Don't worry about what the files are - there's absolutely nothing that you
either can or should be doing with them, if SR is working as designed.
to set the amount of space allocated to SR,
go to
System | Performance | File System | Hard Disk and adjust the restore slider
to your preferred setting.
Most people find that a setting of 200-300MB is sufficient to hold 10-15
days worth of restore points, unless you are doing a lot of
installs/uninstalls, or installing large applications (such as Office).
