I have been getting some blue screens this past few weeks. Just as i think i
have sorted it (by uninstalling software), it comes back again. They all
seem pretty similar. The last one said at the top of the screen...
FILE_SYSTEM and at the bottom the stop error was
0x00000022 (0x000202EF,0x8266C900,0x8266C848,0x82E11A48)

I have installed and uninstalled several types of software and so have no
idea which it could be especially as the blue screens are random on startup
(not everytime but generally after the computer has been off a while). I'm
not prepared to try a hit and miss approach with uninstalling software as
that can create problems in itself it would seem. I'm not a computer techy
but i'm i'm not a computer dummy either. Can anyone help me fix this using
laymans terms, i haven't got a clue when it comes to system registry and dumo
files and the like. I have looked on the microsoft knowledge base but can't
find ny info that makes any sense to me.

This error looks more like a WindowsXP error than an ME error - are you sure
that you're in the right group??
