AVSYNMGR is the McAfee service that loads the AV software.
On NT, you can START or STOP the NT service AVSYNMGR.
Reinstallation of the software and installation of the LATEST SuperDAT is warranted.
Chances may be that this is caused by NOT using ENGINE v4320 on the OPs PC.

| This message is indicating that your McAfee AV application is having problems,
| MCSCAN32.DLL being part of McAfee. Not having McAfee installed I cannot
| comment about Avsynmng and am guessing that this is a McAfee function. Try
| uninstalling and then reinstalling McAfee.
